Putra Specialist Hospital (Batu Pahat) Sdn. Bhd. (formerly known as The Southern Hospital Batu Pahat Sdn. Bhd.), was established in 1998 as Batu Pahat Specialist. The Southern Hospital Sdn. Bhd. took over on 8th February 1994. Its opening was officiated by Minister of Health in 6th November 1995. Putra Specialist Hospital Batu Pahat is part of Putra Group Hospital. The Hospital is licensed for 83 beds and has 12 resident consultants and 7 visiting consultants from various specialties..
